The occurrence of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) have more than doubled over the past 50 years due to the acceptance of it as a medical condition that is caused by unhealthy diet with high in saturated food. Premenstrual syndrome is defined as faulty function of the ovaries related to the women's menstrual cycle, it effects a women's physical and emotional state, and sometimes interferes with daily activities as a result of hormone fluctuation. The syndrome occurs one to two weeks before menstruation and then declines when the period starts. I. How Prostaglandins inhibitor effects women with PMS
Prostaglandins inhibitor is another types of conventional treatment which helps to stop the period pain as resulting in inhibiting the production of certain members in the prostaglandins family which control the uterus muscles but does not helps to balance the prostaglandins hormone.

II. Side effects
1. Bleeding
Beside helping the stop the menstrual pain and cramps for women with pre-menstrual syndrome, it also enhances the period flow for women with absence of the period resulting in increasing and prolonging the period bleeding.

2. Water and fluid retention
Prostaglandins inhibitor depletes the levels of potassium and
may attenuate the diuretic response to furosemide in the body resulting in increasing the risk of water and fluid retention in the women body tissues.

3. Digestive disorder
a) Some women may experience stomach and intestine irritation after taking the medication causing
nausea and vomiting, heartburn and diarrhoea.

b) Prostaglandins inhibitor may also interfere with the digestive system in absorbing the vital vitamins and minerals as resulting of abnormal functions of stomach and intestine leading to more severity of the symptoms of PMS.

c) Abdominal cramp and indigestion
Some women may experience the breaks down of part of the stomach lining breaks down leading to indigestion and abdominal pain as resulting of chemical elements in the medicine.
